The new Rio Grande 'U Boat' in service

This is a new addition to the Abbeydale Miniature Railway loco fleet. Designed and built by two Society members using the latest CAD, laser cutting, and electronic technology. Affectionately known as the 'U-Boat' -  it's a model of a USA General Electric U25B main line loco. It's battery powered, with a 24v motor and gearbox on each axle. The loco is proving very successful  - have you seen it yet? Can you spot the little dragon? ASK THE DRIVER WHY IT'S THERE!
